Four of them barge into bedroom and beat woman's lover, cops say
TORRINGTON, Connecticut - A group of teenagers misunderstood a woman's screams during sex and stopped what they thought was an assault by beating the woman's companion, police say.
A girl, two boys and a 19-year-old man were arrested Tuesday and arraigned Wednesday on assault and conspiracy charges.
On June 6, police say the 16-year-old girl, who lives in the home, heard the 34-year-old woman's screams and thought she was being attacked. It wasn't immediately clear how the woman and the teenager are related.
The girl rounded up some friends. Police say they went into the bedroom and beat the woman's 25-year-old companion with a baseball bat and punched him. He was treated at a hospital and released.
The woman hasn't returned a message left by The Associated Press. There is no phone listing for the man.

thats funny, and actually more common than you think. Not the beating part, but people mistaking sex for domestic violence.
when i first met my fiance, I was living in an apartment. We were 'together' one night, and during this time a couple of police officers knocked on our door and asked if everything was OK. I could tell they realized what was really happening when I answered the door they didnt question anthing they just said "we were just sent here because there were reports of a domestic dispute. They must have been mistaken. You two have fun". The one officer was completely embarassed, not to mention a little upset that he was called to investigate two people having sex.

Some retards like to ham it up during sex it is a kind of exhibitionism for their neighbors to hear. If it accidentally causes people to get confused and beat them with a baseball bat then that is only a consequence of their own actions imo. I can't believe they are charging these kids over it, they should charge the exhibitionists for disturbing the peace and corrupting minors. And just let the kids off with a warning.

sort of agree with SuperCrap on this. There was a time when i heard funny noises from a couple next door (i was new in that apartment), and just the same, i wasn't sure how to act on it, the woman was like in pain and i was on the verge of calling the police. Luckily another tenant knocked over their door and asked them to tone down. Turns out that it was normal for locals to hear the noisy couple already.
see, this is why im also wondering why the police charged the kids. I mean, what if there really was a crime going on, they've chosen to put their lives on the line anyways. And the couple should've locked their door or something, so when the kids knock, they could just scream "go away you brats, we're having *** here you know!".

Something vary similar happened to me but it was in a hotel room and wasn't the girl screaming it was ME !! That right yo' the manager and two cops came threw the door,unannounced.Myrtle Beech .SC.Man that was one big chick!!
