If I had to choose I'd probably choose Engineering V first for the 5% bonus to powergrid. Eventually, i think most people end up with all the basics at V (Engineering, mechanics, electronics, Science, etc). They made the basic category skills highly desireable because they are so versatile.
For instance, Engineering 5 alone is prereq for Assault ships, HACs, and other stuff
Electronics is great for stealth but since you in Empire for time being might not be a biggie
oh btw I cant speak on Learning V. It's a gamble really. will you be around long enough to capitalize on the gain? Are you addicted to evemon sp/hr display? My friends seem to think they are playing EVEMon as they gaze at their display and watch their SPs tick
