looks like this is flat 2d cartoons to me
It's called "Cell Shading" a relatively new and cool technique to make games look like comics and stuff. Take a look at a game called "XIII" its pretty cool.
well i really like the art work i might give it a try later on :P
what i like about cell shaders is its so easy to add some badd ass mobs and special effects

Different AND a Sci-Fi game!
Don't get me wrong, Elves and magic and stuff are fun..but I sorely lack a new..FUN Sci-Fi game right about now
I noticed on one of the first pictures of the character accessing a terminal, and it all looked so...well..Yummy
sigh another one to watch!
