Anyone ever heard about this, or better yet, tried it? www.kuro5hin.org/story/2002/4/15/103358/720

Apparently you can function on 2-3 hours of sleep a day using this sleep schedule. I think I may give it a shot at the end of the quarter XD....

Playing - FFXIV,  ESO
Played - FFXI, WoW, Lineage 2, Guild Wars, Aion, SWToR, LotRO, GW2, TERA, Rift, ArcheAge, TSW

I don't see how you can get away with naps 3+ times during the work day.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer tries something similar.  Ends up at the bottom of the river.

I'm with Sab on this, I don't see how you could do it while working.

You could pull a George and retrofit the underside of your desk with some shelving and an alarm clock.

I tried this a few years back. It works, but getting to the point where you can survive on that amount of sleep is difficult. Also, I found it quite boring. Being awake 20 hours daily, you must find something to remain active. That's the downer on this schedule - you can't just simply sit on the couch and watch TV for 20 hours - you need to be active - not necessarily meaning active as in exercising or the such, but active as in engaging the brain which, in itself, makes you mentally tired.

The only thing worse than transitioning to this sleep pattern is transitioning away from it.

Modjoe was the last one here that tried that.  Ask him how it went.

    That's what I'm thinking.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
