Steele right after President Obama's side-splitting White House Correspondents Association dinner after finding someone holding a camera and a microphone.
Just wind him up and let him go... wheeeee!
It ought to be interesting to see what Rush is quoted after seeing his latest clip. Somehow, I get the feeling that the Republican guy who persuaded the other old codgers to elect Steele as a good idea is thinking "Hey... wait a minute. This guy is nothing like Alan Keyes! Wtf?"
Comments
Steele is inept, but honestly, he's in a pretty unenviable position. Would you want to be in charge of putting a dying party back together?
So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys...I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers, a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things, but I tell you, Jerry, at that moment ... I was a marine biologist.
I will bet you $100 that the Dems kick the Republican's everloving asses in the 2010 midterms.
Also, the Democrats "got rid of all the moderates" after 2004? Uh ... evidence please?
The Republican party is in the shitter, big time. They will not be competitive on a national level for quite some time.

I still don't know why they picked Steele.
Alan Keyes is considerably more conservative than Steele, a more well known national figure, is good at taking orders and not spouting off at the mouth, and when he talks he usually is eloquent enough to get his point across without using Ebonics. Just a really, really weird choice of a figurehead. He's always saying bonehead, appeasing things, lol.
If I was to give them advice for plugging up that leaky rowboat, I'd say get rid of Steele and put Keyes in. That way, they can claim race had nothing to do with Steele's removal.
"TO MICHAEL!"
There's no getting rid of him, so you probably should just get onboard and become a part of the solution, instead of being part of the problem. The country would be much better off for it.

Well then you had better hope that someone successfully opposes the Democrats soon or they are going to spend this country into the ground in the span of a couple election cycles.
1. Predicted by whom? Nostradamus?
Meh.. he was actually talking about Bush and Karl Rove there.
2. Steele isn't going anywhere. Grab your popcorn. He's just getting started.

Spout off the same nonsensical BS enough, and eventually I guess you start to believe it, right jdun?

YaY!!!! another political topic just what we are missing around here.
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981
It's got Nostadamus!
"TO MICHAEL!"
Yep, another in the string of topics created by a serial political thread spawning monster.
We needed another one, really, each new one is full of fresh ideas and viewpoints and not from the same few posters. No, not at all.

Steele strikes again!
Steele's apology about Mitt Romney and Mormonism.
Sooooo, exactly what did Steele say to piss Romney off while hosting fellow conservative Republican Bill Bennett's radio show? Give him a microphone, and get out of the way.
The Democrats hope Rush, Steele and Cheney can only talk for four more years so they can get re-elected, lol. As an Independant, I just like the comedy.
