OK Star Trek kicks off the summer movie season with an awesome movie.   What other movies do you now look forward to?

I think Terminator: Salvation might be worth going to see at the theater and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will no doubt rock.

I already saw Wolverene and I was somewhat disappointed.  I had the chance to go last night and see Star Treck but I passed on it and found out 3 hours later that a few of my buddies had mixed feelings about it all.  Kind of glad I didn't spend money on it.

As for Terminator... I was never really a fan of the franchise so I might just pass on the new one coming this summer.  I will however see Transformers and I'm going to look into the G.I. Joe movie a bit more just to see what the deal is.  Other then that I'm not really keen on anything else.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

Public Enemies(my bet to be the best film this summer)

    The Taking of Pelham 123

Edit:  I forgot District 9.  How did I forget that?  I really want to see that one.

Terminator and Transformers 2 are the only two that have caught my eye so far. The rest just seem kinda 'meh' to me. So far I've seen Wolverine and Star Trek and wasn't disappointed by either movie. Hopefully the other two I'm looking forward to don't disappoint either.

Well I am very intersted to see Terminator, only because I want to see how much more they can milk the franchise and making it as intersting as T2.

And Angels and Demons I saw it and it was much more shallow (if that's possible) than the book.

Terminator because i've yet to see anything come from McG (director) that has been awful.  I like the guy's style.

I'm kinda pissed about the PG-13 rating though.  Hope there will be an unrated/uncut DVD.  So tired of people taking an entire series of movies that have been rated R and making them PG-13 to try to get more children's allowance money or mom's ok.

They're remaking Nightmare on Elm Street, due in 2010.  If it's PG-13 I swear to christ I will drive cross country to hollywood, in an adult diaper with steak knives duct taped to my fingers, to try to kill as many useless hollywood dipshits as I can.

Hope you got your things together. Hope you are quite prepared to die. Looks like we're in for nasty weather. ... There's a bad moon on the rise.

Aww wtf are they really going to make the new Terminator PG13+?

    O_o o_O

  • MandarrMandarr Member, Newbie CommonPosts: 300

Well, now that I see that they're apparently releasing the new Terminator as a PG-13 crapfest.  My enthusiasm for the movie has dropped significantly.  Other than that I have yet to see the new Star Trek and am looking forward to Public Enemies.  Never got into the Transformers cartoon and thought the first movie was pretty damned stupid as well, so I'll be skipping the new one.  And although I've seen all the other Harry Potter's, I really don't have any damned idea what the hell is going on in them or what it's even about.  So I'll be skipping that crap as well.  Where's a good Will Smith Summer Blockbuster when ya' need one?

*Doh!  I completely forgot about Inglorious Bastards.  That's a must see!
