Entropia economy go busted ?

All this years i have been looking at ppl promoting Entropia, telling how good it is how you can make money if you are smart.
So strange they don’t talk about recent economy falling apart why?
So the goal is to say nice thinks but when times are hard no new feed to tell about them.
So I bring you the Entropia economy go busted.
Weapons and items (the one that are rare) can’t find buyer, price dropped over the period of two months 80% on some items (like the UL 6 gun that is on auction at 8000 peds while the last one sold for 40000 peds) I’m shore the owner want way out off the so promised great land but even at under market no one want to buy anything.
Even resellers that are known for being greedy and buying everything low refuse to buy anything.
Example is the ML 35 that was 20000 peds last year found buyer at 12000 after 3 weeks on auction.
Before you think about entropia as your best investment think about this are you ready to lose 1000 dollars over night in virtual game.
They want to believe that everything is good while the boat sinks day after day and more and more ppl realized that it was all but smoke in the eye.
PS. sry for the first post did not come out as i did not see the windows it was all gray look like it wont work in IE8 works in fire fox.

Since the economy in EU is tied to RL funds...discretionary spending at that, it should be no suprise that the economy on Calypso would follow the RL one to some degree.
That being said, the price on many items was already so hyperinflated that it's no suprise to see a market correction in process.

Im conviced that the dude who payd 40000 peds ( 4000 us dollars ) for 'Isis HL6 Unlimited' is more that happy to see it selling at 8000 peds ( 800 us dollars ) what great way to make money... sry no what great way to lose money.
Hard 3200 us dollars earned at work wanished in Entropia cheers.
I think is good that we can bring the truth about Entropia to warn inocent players that may be duped by all the MA advertisement pure smoke in the eye, bolok.

*shrug* I'm not saying what's happening to the in-game economy is good or bad. I'm just saying that prices in game were severely overinflated, and that anyone making an "investment" in the game in order to make money was (and is) taking a huge risk.
Bottom line, download, play, spend 10-20 bucks per month and you'll be just as entertained as any of the other pay-for-play games out there.

Only cow that huge statement... do you play any MMO's obviusly i doubt, let me take one example Entropia cant offer 10% quality as let say EvE Online. Not to mention WoW, Neocron2 or so many games that you can find on mmorpg.com !
Ther is no content in Entropia 0 content that why it will never atract gamers only gamblers that think they can get rich over night.
No quest, no dungeons and if you want to grind skills guss what give us the money and tons off it. How you can say that it will be as funn as any MMO when you can shoot 10 dollars in less that day whith Opalo ( starter rifle ) while in normal MMO's you will be able to play the next 29 days whith no extra charge?
No dont give it try you are beter of never downloading Entropia becose it will suck you dollars up !
Chose from any MMO on this web site so you enjoy youre month of gaming and not casino play, micro payment LMAO.
Read on the forums the polls how much ppl deposit to play average is more like 1000 dollars month.

Economy in EU has almost nothing to do with RL economy, don't kid yourself. Market crash is happening because of MAs stupid plan to plunder from most and only give to few. Since months now there is an increased number of super uber hofs and aths but average loot for most players is way down. Mathematicaly same amount of peds is dished out to player base but it's not evenly spread which increases the gap between those who can afford things and those who can't. Someone who hits 50,000 PED ath will buy one UL gun and that is it. Instead of 5 people getting 10,000 each which would create 5 potential customers for UL guns.
On top of that the faster people loose their PEDs the less they put in. It's psychology, very simple, no one want's to put money into a machine that does not pay you back ever. I'm also speaking for myself here, 2 years of hunting and only one hof. And I aint no snable hunter. With this loot split I'm not putting a single dime in this game ever again.
Gun prices are down.
Hunting loot has almost no markup.
Ore prices are waaaaaay down, since crafters are mostly broke (only few very dedicated people craft on high level now).
Skill prices are reaching their all time lows since everyone and their aunt is trying to finnance their play from selling skills.
Gun prices are down... the circle goes on.
I don't need a crystal ball to be able to say that this game is toast with their current loot distribution pattern.

I could not agree more, though I bet within 5 days, an employee of MA (or extremely devoted fan that should) will post "its not true!"

Lol. I like how you compare it to other games. I as easy can say it is way better then any other game, especially then WoW-shit and eve.... What have WoW? Same dungeons you repeat 100x times to get some gear, then repeat for another 200x to get another gear and repeat everything again with new patch... awesome brain burner. Eve online - you go mine for months, you go destroy same ships for another month, you go mine for another month etc....
Entropia is fun to hunt with a team, do those alien ship raids, supreme mobs. Mining is way far better then any other game, as it is not same "saw shit on ground, picked for 5sec and here i have it" routine. Depths, diff locations and stuff like that makes it interesting.
And about money aspect yea if you are idiot or very unlucky you can spend 1000/month. But you can play wise and spend few $ per month. You can resell, it is always profitable if you know prices. Crafting requires extreme money but in the end in can make nice profit. Hunting usually will be wasteful, and mining if you mining wise can lose you few bucks or win per day...
And overall all game is same: you REPEAT same stuff over and over again. Like fucking real life.
Ok WoW yeah is kind grinding, but you cant say that from EvE. If you find that EvE is to repeat then you did not play EvE you played something else…
I get in 150 men fleet fights at least twice week ( i entropia you will never get 150 ppl in same spot in same time LOL if 150 ppl play the game at same time ).
Whith WH is so FRKING exiseded every time you find one you got no clue what is going to be, scanning plexis and geting 2b worth of faction mods ( i dont pay to play EvE alredy 24 months buying GTC whith isk ).
EvE is so much of game LMAO minning you need to go do those IRL stuff dude… if you cant play EvE dont, but dont say is all repeat TBH is even more easy to make real money in EvE ( for ppl that want to sell ISK, the only part is that is not legal ) but there is many making 100 of dollars by doing that.
OFC is easy to make money in Entropia that exactely why on entropiaforum every one cry about returns, like you say you need to be smart well i guss then every one that cry is stupid.

Weapons prices droped by 50 up to 70% ( bet it will drop even more as every one quiting and want out of the sinking boat ) and i see no one want to buy them !!!

The economy will improve though, it isn't all doom and gloom. Just look at the real world economy, the signs are beginning to show that its improving, or at least my local economy.

I dont try to troll i belive is mine duty to warn ppl as i seen to many ads posts on MMO web site about Entropia ( Bank lisance, CE2 blablabla and more blablabla ).
So i feel is normal that i post what all those fans dont want the ppl to know.
Remember this forum is not EF where you get instant banned if you post negative reviews about EU, and im proud and happy to be apart of fee to speek comunity.

Is it my imagination or is no one bidding on anything at all? Everytime I log in and look at expiring auctions there is not 1 bid on anything! Maybe Mindark will move to a monthly subscription model if people don't want to deposit any more. I know the hardcore people will still drop tons of money in daily but I don't know how they are going to sell stuff when people won't buy anything in the malls or auctions and $$$ is going to the TT instead of between players.

You might be right, Last couple of times I've had mid level things on auction, they've never sold, even under %, which I found very strange - I thought It was the wrong day or something, or people were waiting for cryengine2.

Auctions often have better luck if you time them so that they end on peak hours during the weekends. More eyes watching the screen that way.

Second life posted in real time monitoring the users on line why Entropia don’t do the same with 800000 accounts? Because if ppl seen the real player numbers they will not invest anything in the game.
Yes there is crazy ppl that paid stupid money for items (i can’t cry i own great car IRL because i sold out) but they are crazy.
You forget to tell about Banks that sold for 400k (guess why because Anshe tried to sell her and get out of the game once she finds almost no one played).
