I went to walmart and bought the platinum pack that came with Prohecies and Factions for $40.00 which is good to start with but you dont get to use heroes which kinda sucks so you after you start there you may want to upgrade to Eye of the North or Nightfall eventually.
Why choose? ebgames, all three, $49.95; then decide for yourself.
Prophecies then buy the Eye of the North expansion so you can get heroes and work on your Hall of Monuments for Guild Wars 2 bonuses.
Considering that the original poster hasn't posted on this site since last August, he's probably not going to read this.
