Having some trouble in need of vethelp!

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Hello everyone. I recently picked up a copy of the collectors edition to play again. Played in beta and release but so many games came out and I couldn't convince a friend to join so I left.

I'm back now but having soem trouble. I have my graphics set to awsome and runs smooth. The game is just as good as I remember and from what i can see the pop is fairly healthy. I'm playing on seradon.

My one problem is i'm having some problems sticking with a character. I like to be that "Needed" class. I love to heal or buff and i'm a fan of "Good" characters in RP standpoints. I would LOVE to make a High elf cleric but i'm having some problems enjoying the high elf faces.

Can anyone help me by telling me what classes might interest me and why? and maybe some racial suggestions as well?

I'm excited to get started seriously and all help is welcome!

    Its really early since its going to be some time before you start end game raiding , still

    - i notice you kinda like healing

    - you also like "good" races

     

    Imho  there are a lot of clerics and blood mages, I suggest for you a caster druid. Its a fun class with phenomena points and super nice buffs for raiding, very different than anyother.

    Second choice would be a disciple, same fun, different background.

     

    Since most  vets have these toons as alts, it would be perfect for you to have one as a main. That would minimize your waiting to enter an end game guild :)

    Welcome back.  I agree with the above.  The only think I might add is create a number of healer alts and start them in their respective racial cities.  If you like healing, experiment with cleric, bloodmage, disciple and shaman... they are all vastly different from one another.  Then mix in different 'good' races and see how their different attributes and racials affect your experience.

    Yea I made a bard to start but I didn't like the fact that they're a DPS class with buffs. I'll be a tank i'll be a healer i'll even be a buff bot but i've never been partial to filling that DPS role.

    I would recommend Goblin or Vulmane shaman.

    Their racial abilities greatly benefits you and your group in tough situations...No matter what healing class you play they all have similar healing abilities and buffs...But IMO the shamans are well rounded and can do some very nice DoT damage with a pet while you heal is very good...

    Indeed bird shamans are great. Keep in mind the OP wants to play a "good" race though.

    "Good" is in theh eye of the beholder :)  I'm quite drawn to Orcs after having complete the Martok quest-line.  I understand their plight :)
