Friends list public?

How do you make the friends list public? I looked all over the options and under friends list it will only let me add/remove friends.

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere. I tried to look before posting.

    Go to Edit Your Profile at the top -> Options -> Hide Buddy List? (above your Avatar area and below Change Your Email.)
