I just can't help myself. I see the word "Arena" flash across my screen and I instantly teleport to Rome

Doesn't matter what I'm doing. I need help!

now this is an example that gambling is very addictive.. i've heard that in real life, there are some people who lost all their money and life savings through gambling specially in casinos..

im not talking myself out of this.. im and "ARENA ADDICT" too

Just remind yourself that the arena is a tax on the stupid. For every 10 gold paid into the system, only 9 gold is paid out. Actually, that might not work if that only means a tax on you; there are a lot of people who play the lottery, after all, and that gives even worse odds than the Arena.

its alright for me.. im doing this cause it entertains me a lot.. this is what i like on this game, there are many things that can be done that makes me stay and play. Also I didnt have to spend any money like on other mmorpgs just to have my self entertained.. just relax and enjoy the game

Arena pays back slighty worse then roulette and is slightly more fun.

Cannot hold a candle to poker.

Beats slots any day if you are inclined that way.

so now just beg for money from your friends or guild mates then bet it again so that you can regain what you lost before

For me, the Arena is like the stock market...you can analyze the line up, who has a strong build and who is the underdog. But sometimes, no matter how strong the line up is, you still lose your bets. You have no control over the results.

I think I set a record last night. I bet 300 mil on 1st alex / 2nd beatrice and it happened. I got 412 million

I'm closer to my ultimate goal now. Since I have all the mercs and what not (some do need some more armor though) I want to see what's the max gold you can have

yeah, I'm hooked on the Arena too.

funny thing is, I'm not much of a gambler in RL. I'm pretty much scared to bet any amount of money on anything in RL. I always think "what if I lose?" and the concept of constantly losing my money always deters me from gambling.

but I'll throw 100k(10 seperate bets of 10k apiece) at the Arena ingame with no reservations.

a lot more consequence when it comes to losing real money, than Video Game money. :P
