Hmm... Doubt it. No official requirements yet, but i doubt a 7150 will do the job.

I just can't imagine worrying about my rig with a game so far down the road--especially one that sounds so bleh.

It looks like your graphics is intergrated. So how you going to upgrade?

    Wil mine work?

    ATi 4850 512mb

    ASUS P5ND-i Motherboard

    6Gigs DDR2 800mhz OC'd at 950

    Q6600 2.4 OC'd at 2.9

     7200RPM 160gb Hard-drive.

Reason I am asking is I plan to play on 1680/1050 resolutuion with AA/AF up as much as possible while being able to be in large PVP battles.

Am just wondering if this will handle large scale PVP without having to jurry rig the gfx to make the game look like a pile of crap.

There's nothing a 4850 can't do! Big battles don't really go well with AF/AA though. But Aion doesn't really have big battles, so that won't be a problem. ;)

There is also a hot key where you can change video settings on the fly from high setting to low / med setting.

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

All boards ( outside some higher priced performance boards ) have integrated graphics chips. As long as he has an PCI, AGP, or PCI-e slot, he can upgrade. I wouldn't bother with the PCI, though. Either AGP at the least or PCI-e.

Yes this will run Aion at LOW end Graphix settings.... if you want too max out youll need at least 1 more gig of ram, change your cpu too lowest phantom or higher... and change your gfx card too at least a nvidia 8800GTX.... MINIMUM too play the game at max but there will probably some lag once in a while hit you. 8gigs of ram with a nvidia 280 or ati 4870 X2 and a phantom amd or intel quad core (cheap one that doesnt have too be the best... just better then what you have now) and it will run smooth at max.

We're talking about Aion here, not Crysis. You really don't need 4 gigs of ram and an Ati 4870 X2 to run it at max.

Well, i have a friend in korea playing on a 6600GT and a dual core 2.4 with 2gb ram and windows XP.

He Does not play on high settings rather medium with no shadows and no AAIn Abyss he has to go down to Low settings.

  • niles08niles08 Member Posts: 43

well its using the cryteck eng so its is kinda crysis graf if you wann play this on full setting on hige settings i would recommen  a 260gtx/280gtx285gtx/295gtx/4850/4870/4870x2 and good Good processer if you wann juist play the game on some lower settings its alright what you have now

  • EphimeroEphimero Member Posts: 1,860

A 8800 GTS 640mb played this game on max settings during a 200 men PvP. The requirements aren't that high, specially to PvE on the mainlands, but a 7150M is an integrated graphic card, and one of the worst ones, for that matter, there's no way that card can play Aion over 2 FPS.

Really, if you don't know much about hardware, don't try recommending. (that doesn't go for you Niles, it goes for the people who state a 7150M can play Aion).

    www.tomshardware.com/charts/gaming-graphics-charts-q3-2008/3DMark06-v1-1-0-3DMark-Score,794.html

Look at this chart, if your GPU isn't here, or if it has under 1500 points on that chart, I would buy another one. It's for desktops, but it will teach some about the numberology NVidia uses in order to define their cards.

  • wandererchanwandererchan Member UncommonPosts: 17

aion game engine is modified farcry 1 engine. if u can run that. then you can run aion. devs already said almost any comp can play aion.

  • TrissaTrissa Member Posts: 251

Just to clarify some confusion i see in few posts.

Crytek 1 Engine -> Far Cry -> Aion. Les demanding in terms of hardware than Crytek 2  Engine -> Crysis.

While we're at it, can you guys see if my pc will run aion at reasonable settings?

Goto the link below and scroll down and you can see my specs.

    http://www.xfire.com/profile/daywalker27cw/

I think I can handle the game on medium/high settings and then switch to low during pvp battles that get big.
