 Your spam filter works wonders.

 I do not use the email connected to this account for anything, period. I do not frequent porno sites. (Unless it is going to show a naked Thora Birch.)

 I have 477 emails, spam.

    I usually getting 3 a day, but I had them already before I created my account here, I think some shop I bought hardware from sold my information.

    Are you really sure it is connected to this site?

    If you all feel this is a something that keeps causing a problem in your daily interactions with the mmorpg.com site or its features I would contact  Ben Krueger, he is the Company Vice President and does most of the programming for the mmorpg.com site. You contact him at [email protected] but before you do, understand he has a very busy schedule and may not reply back to you as soon as you would like but rest assured he or someone else from the programming department will look into the matter and get everything sorted out.     Unfortunately spammers have fiqured out that taking your MMORPG username and appending @mmorpg.com gives them your local email address.  We have close to 1 million members here on the site so this is highly targeted by spammers.  We have installed a new version of the mail server a few days back with upgraded spam detection and will be working towards capturing and preventing more and more of these spam messages from hitting your inboxes here on the site.

     

    On the brighter side of things be glad you only have ~450 spam messages in your inbox as I receive that many on my accounts in a day or less normally.

     i got none. and i have used this email a few times. so this is the best email i have had if I'd have to choose.

    When coping with spam, it's important to realize that technical "solutions" such as filtering only go so far in spam fighting.  There is an unceasing war of move and counter move between spammers on the one side and mail admins on the other side.  Spammers will find ways to frustrate filters, and mail admins will find ways new ways to frustrate them, which they'll counter in terms.

    Ultimately, spam is a social, not a technical, problem.  What spam does is waste a great deal of everyone's time.  Not responding to spam is the only sure way of making an impact on the spammer.  Alas, the spammer only needs a very small percentage return rate to profit from it, which will assure him that he's not wasting his time doing it.

    Meanwhile, the costs of the spammer's actions are ultimately passed on to you, the end user, through ISP fees and having to tolerate ads on webpages and so forth.

    CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.
