What do I read after Paths of Darkness? I cant seem to find a solid answer and I must read things in order. So far I have read:

Dark Elf Trilogy

Icewind Dale

Legacy of the Drow

Paths of Darkness

I am assuming Hunters Blades is next? Or is it Cleric Quintet? And acutally...I took a look at one of the Hunters Blades books for the other novles by Savlatore and it has Cleric Quintet in between icewind dale and legacy of the drow....did I miss something? I never saw this order in any of the earlier books. Please sort this out for me!!

Someone suggested these books to someone else in a post over a year ago. I took his advice and recently finished th 9th book in the series. He suggested this order:

    "The Dark Elf Trilogy

    -Homeland

    -Exile

    -Sojourn

    The Icewind Dale Trilogy

    -The Crystal Shard

    -Streams of Silver

    -The Halflings Gem

    Legacy of the Drow

    -The Legacy

    -Starless Night

    -Siege of Darkness

    -Passage to Dawn

    Paths to Darkness

    -The Silent Blade

    -The Spine of the World

    -Sea of Swords

    The Hunters Blades Trilogy

    -The Thousand Orcs

    -The Lone Drow

    -The Two Swords

Theres also a series revolving around his two biggest foes

    The Sellswords Trilogy

-Servant of the Shard (originally part of the Paths to Darkness series)

-The Promise of the Witch King

    -Road of the Patriach

Plus theres a new Drizzt trilogy in the making, i believe the first one is out titled the Orc King."

*I believe he just finished The Pirate King which is the 2nd or 3rd one in the latest series.*

Basically what Laserwolf said.  The Sellswords does not have Drizzt Do'Urden in it but it does follow Artemis Entreri and Jaraxle as they have their own adventures.

The Cleric Quintet is another offshoot set in the same time frame and deals with Caderly Bonaduce a priest of Denir.  Basically it tells the story of him as a young man and follows him as he rises through the ranks.  It's a good read.  As good as all the other books listed.

I've read a good chunk of all those books.  I'm waiting on the re-release of the drow series with the new art cover so that I'll have them all the same.  The Orc King was good and I'm waiting on the Pirate King to be released in paperback so that it will fit into my pocket.  I like to read on the subway train on the way to work or on my way downtown.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
