Treasure Maps Location

I've been doing a lot of treasure maps recently and I noticed that there are places that are specific for such maps, like the old treasure maps, treasures were hidden mostly in the Berne area and the pirate treasure map are mostly located at asia..did you notice that too or is it only in my character?

Hmm... I haven't really noticed that. Though, I remember when I got the old treasue map, it was stated in it's description that the treasure will spawn at a nearby area. Can't remember where the pirate treasure were, however...
