Strange statue

I just saw this peculiar statue near Gum Hwal Li when I was on my way to Calcutta. I decided to fight it since it was just level 20 and after it broke down (literally, into pieces) I looted it and found a cultural box! I am having this guilty feeling that it was like a treasure box or something and I kinda 'stole' it when I fought it. Has any of you encountered this statue?

It happened once to me too.
I had the same feeling that you described, but i enjoyed that cultural box. It was 220k gold worth
Haha! I haven't opened the cultural box I got from the statue but I received a one before from a chest so I know I could receive something big if the treasure it legit.
I got 200k from one item I got!
What was that statue? Anyway, the guilt will eventually go...

I heard that it was a rare spawn outside various towns. I never saw it myself however but I heard someone mention it. You were lucky to catch a rare spawn in-game and earn a few hundred thousand gold.

I haven't seen any of those statues. Very interesting... A rare spawn you say? I hope I'll get to see one. It's been a while since I have gone treasure hunting so I haven't received any cultural boxes and those boxes are a nice way of making some money.
I've encountered several of these, they're not just outside towns. A couple I've found outside dungeons and along the paths. The 10th dynasty coin (forgot the name of it) sells to Howard for 500k
Interesting, I will have to keep my eyes open.
And yes that 10th dy coin does and I have had 3 of them - unfortunately all 3 of mine were fakes
Hmm, interesting enough. Better to watch out for those as i haven't seen any as of late. Given ofcourse the fact that i haven't logged in game in a few days now. See you ingame once more and hope i get one of these as my ingame char nedds a lot of gold. lol

Most I ever got for a cultural item was 3mil.. I see some people getting 17mil. Very lucky I say.

220k is small fee compare when you got a coin in the cultural treasure, you can sell atleast 3m...
