Immune to Freezing Axe

I was in Bran Castle to kill some 25 servants when I encountered a mob with the Admirer of Shiba.  I went into battle with the said group and when the Admirer of Shiba was the only one left, I tried using the Freezing Axe so that he cannot move on the next turn. I was pretty surprised that the Admirer of Shiba was able to move even though he got the Freezing Axe. Is the Admirer of Shiba immune to Freezing Axe? And what are the other monsters that are immune to Freezing Axe too, anyone?

there are monsters that are immune in freezing and stunning, like the monster you have encountered in bran castle, these monsters can be classified  as boss or mini boss monsters...

Yeah, from now on, expect every single boss and mini boss to be immune to stunning and freezing.

Awe... And, the Freezing Axe is currently my favorite skill! So, it'll not work all the time, huh? This is not related to the Freezing axe but I've notice that the ants at the Insect Nest are immune to the artillery's attacks...Which I can't understand why. Can't canons kill ants?

Yeah the immunities kill axe/viking in the lategame.  Anyone 100+ almost never uses a viking because bosses that high never get hit with it

i've also been hearing that the viking is pretty useless at higher levels. thanks to this thread, i now know why. so i guess i've got to start leveling up another merc at lvl55 and just keep my viking at the merc room?

but how about those with axe as main, do they get useless then?

I dont' know if I would say useless yet and I am back and forth between Bran and the Taj Mahal and yes I was like WTH when I first encountered Shiba and his walking right out of freeze and attacking me.  But then again, I just froze two rows of bats (I have two vikings) and did focus fire on the Admirer.  My opinion is (at least at this level) there will always be mobs NOT immune to ice so I just freeze them and my axemen can do some major damage with their normal attacks as well and they can freeze flying mobs.

I was in Taj and finishing the Pretas when that most annoying sound occurred, you know the dun duh duh and that wonderful Enemies Have Joined message and I found myself facing 2 full groups of 7 and the remaining 4 of the original group.....18 mobs for those of you a bit slow in math.  Thankfully I had two rows frozen most of the time as I slowly took down each group.  I did in the process lose 2 swordsman, my monk and my second gunner but in the end I overcame.  Thank you Mr. Freeze 1 and 2.

lol, as you go to level 50+ you will encounter more and more creatures immune to freeze and/or stun attacks and will just shake off such like a dog shaking off water. lol In any case, freezing is still handy with the minions for mini boos and/boss fights so it's still worth it plus ion PvP it is still a useful spell to CC.

Only bosses and mini bosses are immune to freezing axe right? So Freezing Axe is still effective in monsters. We can still use them in questing. And also, Freezing Axe is still useful in PvPs, so whenever you enter the free league, it is still a lethal weapon.

like what i've said earlier, mini bosses and bosses are immune in freezing and stunning.  so it is important to hone your strategy in defeating bosses, you should not only rely in freezing and stunning...
