Ok, so me and some people from work pre-viewed this movie last night (i work at a movie theater fyi). It is by far the funniest damn movie I have seen in a long time. There are points where it hurt to laugh! BUT BE WARNED!! This movie is not for kids. So much that we have to check IDs at the door tomarow when it releases. But if you are looking for a really good laugh with your friends, and have valid ID ::::39:: , see this movie!!!!

It started with a NC-17, and only with lots of bridery was it able to get a R. I think that in self says it's not for kids.

Saddly I do not work in a theater and must see it with sheepish masses today.

NC-17? For what? Usually they only dub a movie that for some type of strong sexual material. But they're marionettes.

There was a sex scene between the two marionettes that the ratings council had a fit over. even though you could see the joints in the puppets legs, and all.

So they cut the sex scene out.

I dunno about this one, I LOVE South Park and the type of comedy it represents, but in my opinion this movie was not very good at all. I think i laughed maybe once or twice out loud but still found myself seeing the jokes and not seeing it being very funny. The sex scene was pretty funny though. I think i was just going in there with higher expectations due to the comedy of South Park

This should answer your question and your statement, as your second "question" isn't worded as a question.

It was writter, produced, and directed by the same people who brought South Park into creation.

SD reviews Team America!

It's sad how little I've grown up. Dismemberment and an overabundance of cussing still crack me up. Thankfully, that's not all this movie was about.

It's a parady of more than one thing. Action movies for one, which is probably more evident. It's got every stereotype and cliche in the early 90's action movie book: love interest, predictable twists, secret base in famous landmark, and so much more. I found that more funny than the fun making of America, though that was pretty evident too ("World Police" is in the title, i.e. we keep screwing in other countries business).

You will recognize many of the voices from South Park. The voice acting of South Park has always been good, funny when need be. And so it is here as well.

Shall we talk puppet sex? Yes, we shall. Sickest, most disturbing, scene that would make you rool on the floor if you weren't in public! It's so fucking graphic... but it's puppets! I'll never look at a puppet, or a muppet for that matter, the same. Quick fact, the movie was originally rated NC-17, so in order to bring it down to an R, they had to censor the puppet scene somewhat. Which makes me oh so curious as to what it was before the censored it, because... it just has to be witnessed. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD unrated.

Greatest puppet movie ever? You betcher ass it is (take that muppets!)! The parodies by themselves are hilarious, throw in pointless cussing up the wazoo and dismembered celebrities (Matt Damoooon!), and you've got at least the funniest, most imaginative movie of the year.

Did anyone else smell sequel at the end? Team World: Universal Police!!!

Ok well i saw this movie on sunday and went inside expecting a perfect movie. I give it a 7/10. A lot of the movie is quite boring hence its puppets. I didnt laugh as much as i thought i would and it was just an ok movie. The hype over this movie is way too big. Great idea but it couldve been done better.
