I installed DL the patches, but the game wont start, says invalid client, so i close it and it will DL the patches all over again it never stops this routine..WTF

Yes, it has intense Vista issues. A lot of people can't get it to work, but I have met one person who was able to get it to work. I don't know anymore about the subject than that.
Allow the game to run as admin.

i got just the same issue, and i'm running the game on my admin user.

Try right-clicking the exe, goto properties and check run in compatibility mode Windows XP and see what happens.

The game works fine on vista, make sure you goto the properties on the shortcut/exe and select the run as administrator box. I 4 box easily on vista. If you dont' run as admin then you won't be able to save updates.
