The Pub at MMORPG.COM

The thing is what is really it for? I'm quite confuse though. From the other threads they kept on fighting, the other one said that he was on the wrong section of the Forum, but I believed that this is a Public Thread for all MMORPG's we can discuss any game here as long as you'll discuss something about the game. Or is this a thread that you'll solely discuss MMORPG as a game not the games that you've played? Can anyone enlighten me the function of this forum? on what and what's not allowed to be posted here.
I'm just giving a suggestion on you guys:
I believed that boundaries should be implemented on this Site, coz sometimes we haven't really known that we already have step the line in violating some rules.
I believed that a Rules and Regulation section should be posted on the forum so that everyone can be aware of the possible violations they can commit. There should also be explanations on why is it and why is it not.
Some people might got confused why they were ban? It is not quite clear for me the true function of this thread, it is really confusing that I'll just read it to some posters. I do hope that some moderators or administrators can answer this.

That would be a good idea. Posting the rules and regulation at the start of the forum could help all of us here in there forum. Sometimes the forum topic title is not enough or is too general to give the specific rules. Hope some of the admins and reading this.
who are you buddy
I just started using this forum site. And still I'm a bit confused of how does this Area of forum functions? Is posting the game that currently you were playing isn't allowable on this area? How come it is the Pub area for MMORPG's if you can't post something about the game you were playing.
The Pub? Never heard of it. This is the Hall of Flames.
What do really happen on this area of the forum boards? This is confusing for myself and probably the future members of the forums as well.
@tarkin1980
Huwat? For real? How come this part of the forum will just end up burning?
The pub is for MMO related discussion.
If one talks about an MMO in particular it will get moved to the forum of that particular game.
It's easy to get banned on this forum, too easy for my taste sometimes. But your account is usually restored within a few days. You do not get IP banned and will always be able to read the site.
Your thread is quite confusing though, all the posts in the pub atm are in some way MMO related, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
Ah yes. Because what I really want to point out here are my suggestions. It will always be a big help for someone who just started out here.
And why is it illegal to post a certain game on this area? since this is the Public place for all games. So it means that someone can post all the games he want to post.
Ok, I will give an example.
*Pub forum:
-MMO design
-MMO, how to stop hackers
-Do you like to raid in MMO?
-The next best sandbox MMO.
-WAR vs WOW vs EQ.
These are all topics that don't relate to one game in particular, but they do relate to MMO and are in some way accesible to everyone playing MMO in a general sense.
That's what the Pub is for.
It's not illegal to post about a certain game, at least it shouldn't be. But sometimes mods will move the post to the games own forum if there is one.
If it's a new game like Blade and Soul, they will leave it in the pub because the game doesn't have it's own forum yet.
So that how does the Pub area works, it should always be in General questions or topic.

I believe that it should be more specific. Since the topic definition is quite confusing. If you'll really read it for the first time, you'll understand this thread to be a place of all the games. So you can simply post any games you wanted here. Since this is the "Public" area for all games. It doesn't even say that posting a specific game here on this thread is prohibited. That is why i want to push through a very own section or just a link of the rules and regulations needed to be followed by the forumers.
Some more clarification about the pubs forum section and it's purpose might help, I agree.
We had a topic about Blizzard versus Glider, the court case. These topics will stay in the pub for example, because they relate to hacking and MMO's in general and not only to WoW.
It can be a bit confusing sometimes.
It thus really confusing, specially that if you just started out on using this forum. I myself doesn't want to create any violations to any forums i've joined with. So a clearer rules and regulations that will be read by everybody.
We do seem to get a lot of posts in here about specific MMO's, but the mods are pretty good about moving them. Unfortunately, some of the game specific forums are completely inactive. So asking a question on some of these won't get you much of an answer.
But I do agree that this specific forum is for posts about MMO's in general not tied to any one individual MMO.
Rules of conduct at the bottom of every page.
Topic about a specific game: goes into that specific game forum (if it exists), otherwise it's "The Pub). For example games yet to be listed.
Topic about multiple games (like the "game vs game"-threads) or about game companies: The Pub.
Looking for a game? That would be the FLG-forum.
(Games that are not mmorpg:s go into off-topic section, that includes "mmorpg:s" that do not fulfill the requirements for being listed. For example browserbased mmorpg:s).
Thank you for replying on this thread for some enlightenment. But I still want to push thru my request for the rules of conduct its own sub forum. This will not just help me, but others as well. Believed me, if the rules and regulation is already have its own sub forum, it will be much more easier for us to read it. Remember, that we are all differenct in every aspect, the only thing that can stop us from brawling are the rules.
Since this thread has been moved to this forum this would be the forum to discuss the rules of conduct in. So, there's your answer.
