They have inplanted stealth.
2.
They said that it woulden be as in all other MMORPGs, were you fhight your way though a area by killing 100ers of mobs, and then end up whit getting a quest / kill task that say you have to go back and kill the same 2o mobs you just kill.
- And im band in 5mins - again for been tru .)

they lied, so what?
(seriously, fix your typing.)
I guess that's what they teach in junior high or middle school nowadays.
Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands? ~Ernest Gaines
..wow behidn the times much? They said they wouldnt' implement stealth LIKE other games...which is true..because you have 1 a chance to see the person and 2 its extremely limited.
BTW those quests are there...if you just wanna farm areas n turn in the Kills to a Kill Collector You can you just have to know which area to find them in and what they accept. There's a kill collector in every chapter.
Even if let say its a lie, WAR is the most what was promised from any other MMO, even WoW...
Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

The smiley behind the topic shows from which preconception you come from.
Yes, they lied.
No, I don't give a damn.
My brand new bloggity blog.
Wow, I totally misunderstood kill collectors (this isn't a sarcastic response but the truth). I thought they gave you exp after you completed quests, which didn't make a lot of sense to me. So it's the guys I kill IN THE quests that are giving me that experience. Sometimes the simplist things leave you oblivious until someone comes along and brings it up.

if you bothered to watch the gamesday video, they said SOME quests (kill collector) and tome unlocks would keep track of your kills so you wouldnt have to search them out and AFTER you got a quest.
Also, stealth is basically restricted to 1 class, and it is so minimal it can easily be countered. Add a few intelligece points and you can see every stealth person around, not to mention that stealth timer is so limited, it is basically only 10-12 seconds.
I guess that's what they teach in junior high or middle school nowadays.
I do believe it has a lot to do with, oh you know, not speaking English as a native tongue.

You wouldn't understand
They stated they wanted to make it so you could turn in any quest if you had already filled the requirements but it is something that would have to wait for the future.
I love the way stealth is implemented in WAR. Actually, it's the best implementation of it I've ever seen in an MMO.

The Truth About Stealth in WAR
Our current stealth system is actually entirely client-side and offers exactly the same quality of experience to EVERY career in the game. That's right. EVERYONE will be able to use stealth in exactly the same way.
The down side is that it will place additional hardware requirements into the min specs for the game, but hey, sacrifices must be made. We've worked with various notable hardware vendors to make sure things will work smoothly for nearly everyone, but you should still consult your manufacturer's documentation to make sure you're fully supported.
The basic way it will work is this:
- Create the character of your choosing.
- Load up the game.
- Start running around, when you're ready to stealth, simply reach over and turn off your monitor.
- Continue playing, enjoying the awesome power of TOTAL INVISIBILITY.
Again, I can't stress enough the importance of checking the documentation for your particular hardware. MAKE SURE you have a monitor that can be turned off. The power switch may, in some cases, be a button. It may also be on the left or right side of the monitor or (though this is rare) somewhere in-between. We've had limited reports of power switches on the BACK or sides of monitors, but have been unable to replicate them in-house.
As a final work around if you simply can't find or operate the power switch, you can physically unplug the power cable from the monitor. Make sure you have the latest Service Pack installed beforehand.
I hope this clears things up and gets everyone super-excited about stealth!"

Daoc - Paladin. Classic.
agreed. Limited, you can't just camp out in it forever, and can be used basically at any time. I like it. I think it could use a little longer duration but for war's gameplay it'd be massively overpowered if they did.
