Been looking at the classes and can't seem to see a Ranger Type class (Non-magic, Missile).
Does this mean most melee classes with have Bow/Arrow skills?
Or did I miss something?

Shadow Warrior = Ranger
Shadow Warrior is a bad dude.
MAGA
Don't mind playing Chaos, in fact was headng that way anyhoot so I'm glad they have this class
Shadow Warrior is Order.
Shadow warrior = Ranger = High Elf
Cheers Guys, no Chaos class the same?
Shadow Warrior is Order, High Elf to be specific
And squig herder.

No pure non-magic ranged on Chaos; the Squig Herder is a hybrib pet/non-magic ranged class, and chaos gets more Magical ranged classes than order (and frankly the magical ranged played the same as non-magical ranged).

Yeah I understand but in my experience Magic Ranged generally has longer Casting time if any. Quite like the hit and run ethics of Non Magic Missile skirmish's.
Yes, you can do the same with Magic Based casters but the Casting Time can be a hinderance.
Is he a bad enough dude to rescue the President?

Yeah in this game, though, the physical missile classes also have cast times. Shadow Warrior in particular takes 1s to 3s for most of its shots, you can move during some of them, but not all.
Seeing as how only 25% of the game was anywhere closed to playable, the earliest and easiest 25% no less, and the rest of the game was hardly implemented, let alone finished or polished, calling War rushed seems a bit silly.
Oh, also, FUcom drove AoC straight into the ground week after week, patch after patch.
Actually, i DO think that they learned from mistakes, from DaoC and from other games...
That's why they cut heavy CC, that's why there is no stealth and that's exactly why there is no ranged-spreadshot class...
Let's face it, the most annoying classes in PvP combat tend to be classes with instant, long range CC and lowcast long range damage. Also known as rangers/hunters. And by annoying I mean leaving you like "what the flying f*** was that, I couldn't even get close".
Mythic knows the ropes and they know that a fight is only fun for both fighters if the loser gets the "damn that was close, I'll get you next time"-feeling and the winner gets the "wohoow, that was close, he almost got me"-feeling. From a metaperspective the only way of keeping a PvP experience fun for all players is providing success-moments for everyone.
compare this to a good FPS. In a good FPS you get owned by good players, but you always, always score if you're remoteley experienced. Nobody on a FPS killboards logs off with 0 frags, 29 deaths. It would be the death of the game, because losing is no fun...
Well back to topic, no, no ranger type classes afaik. Like the suck-ass ranger classes in other games that rip you apart from 150 feet away...
Meridion
You got your shadow warrior on the one side and your squig herder on the other. Pick your poison.
Squig Herders are ze nassty and Shadow Warriors are ze coool.
Engineers with their monkey wrenches in close combat can get quite "immersive" as well... "Gonna fix you up reel good wit this one. Now stand still boy till I rearrange your attitude."
Um, what the heck does this have to do with any post in this thread?
Squig herder's your pretty typical hunter style class, like in previous mainstream mmo's.. mostly meant to fight with it's bow and pet
The shadow warrior cannot dual wield, so no drizz't' and no legolas' stereotypes please.
