Open Beta Start Time Update, EU and US sync start

Open Beta will start Sunday Morning (EDT) and in the afternoon in Europe. Our launches are planned to be synchronized (read very close together not necessarily at the same exact second.)
It will not be at the stroke of midnight, at least not in our part of the world (Virginia)
As I've stated before don't really expect much to ever happen right at midnight, it's important we have a "well rested" (read more sleep than normal) team and be able to react to anything that may appear during normal hours as opposed to 3AM.
We'll make an announcement as soon as the servers are live (though most likely the posts will start popping up here first from people camping the login )
As always this plan can change if we feel the need to do any further testing or encounter anything that would make the launch of Open Beta unsatisfactory.
Things are looking great though and we'll be up bright and early with smiling faces to welcome you all to WAR

I'll try in another 15 minutes until it opens.. heheh.
You got to admit, it is still pretty exciting (even though its just a open beta) to get into the game they we all been waiting for.
Imagine when the game goes live.. Alll I can say is.. Good Times! haha

any ideas on the game server login issue? It is saying failed to authenticate account for mine, and my husbands account.

we are all getting the same thing we are assuming it is just the step they are using to keep us out ..

that sucks lol .. i just trying logging in "again" lol and it paused for a second on the patch screen lol ..
then it flipped back to authentication failed lol ..
how can it toy with me like that for a split second I was almost there lol
At this point I'm trying to trick the patcher by pressing PLAY before it can shut down and tell me about an authentification error. I clicked play and then it did it anyway... and now the play button is grayed out lol it got annoyed with me.

hahaha It did that to me too. My husband said I sat up straighter in the chair and then slumped back down... Apparently he classes this as 'pouting'. But I'm with you - there should be no taunting!!
Perhaps there is no error, but Blizzard made a subliminal message to make everyone forget their WAR account info in order to thwart the launch of WAR =O
Actualy it looks like we are being held back because of the Europians. They want to sync us up with them but acording to WA they are haveing authentication issues over there.
Now now... don't go blaming other billing groups
They just aren't ready to open the floodgates for the OB players yet is all... keep your eyes glued to the Herald.
Europeans holding up the beta!? That's ground for a declaration of war (teehee pun). Grab yer shotguns boys, it's dubyah dubyah three!
