    Worst case scenario is I don't like the game, i already know its a risk but its a 50$ risk im prepared to make.

    I agree with the OP, at least to a certain extent.

    If every gamer waited until a game was properly reviewed by multiple trustworthy sources before buying, there would be far fewer hastily released crap-fests out there.

    Why? Because developers and investors wouldn't just lose some money on a turd of a game. They'd lose almost ALL of it.

    This would provide even more incentive not to release buggy piles of unplayable garbage.

    You people say, "Oh well, it's just $50. If I don't like it, no big deal." That isn't the point. The point is, willingness to purchase games sight unseen encourages buggy, unplayable crap-fests.
