suggestions for a long week:
Log in to AoC and to find a post apocalyptic Kheshatta, where the few remaining players have formed a zerg guild to battle the forces of evil and the other 2 players in the game. Proceed to be charged for 4000 damage by a guardian hiding in a bush who then tells you "you suck at pvp" ( note: you only have 2900 hp)
Log in to WoW and try to create a new character. Stare at a boar for 15 minutes straight and contemplate how many you will have to kill before you can reach a respectable level. Try to find as many "boar" quests as you can then wander off in a zombie-like state and kill wolves untill your quests become grey and obsolete. Watch in complete apathy as your level 5 gnome is forcefully logged out from the server.
Register for some god-awful free korean game and spend 5 hours downloading the client from fileplanet. Create five accounts untill the fifth one finally recieves a confirmation email and you can actually use it. Spend 50 seconds customizing your character by choosing between face option 1 or 2. Kill mob model #1, kill mob model #2, kill mob model #3, spend another 5 minutes playing the game and try to log back in to WoW.
Try to offer a friend a slightly used "monkeybone" dvd for his closed beta account.
any other suggestions?
don't say go outside, there's a malevolent looking pidgeon outside my window.

Stare at the mmorpg.com forums, refreshing the page every 20 seconds in the vain hope that someone will post something earthshattering and awesome... Or perhaps mildly interesting... Ok, ok, at least something relevant... nevermind.
Go about our miserable lives, wallowing in the depression and despair that only mmorpg withdrawl can provide.
Exercise... Heh, heheh, woohoohahahaHAHAHALOLOMGHAHAHAAHAH... heh, whew...
Try "old" games like Planetside, Balltefield 2, Frontlines, Mass Effect, Baldurs Gate 2, Morrowind, Desktop Turret Defense, Darwinia, Tremulous, Civilization IV, .... etc.
What I'm doing !
I'm teaching a friend to play WoW, and it's very frustrating with the trial account, did you know you cant:
join as a group ( no group chat even )
e-mail others
buy/sell anything on the auction
This is not very good PR for Blizzard cause you get the feeling your alone. However I could understand how players would exploit this trial.
The entire time I'm talking my friend into really play Warhammer when it's released . But WoW is only $15
Literally turned off Battlefield 2 about 10 minutes ago.
Sadly, can't bring myself to start a new character in WoW as I know that it would be a wasted exercise as I could never be bothered to level them. AoC has lost it's spark (Three level 80s and still nothing to do with them). My plan is to get everything done in RL that I had planned for the next couple of months 'cos I just know that as soon as it launches I'll be back in the Work - Eat - MMO - Sleep cycle that I always devolve into for the first month of a new MMO.
Playing: EVE, Final Fantasy 13, Uncharted 2, Need for Speed: Shift
I go with checking the forums every few seconds and hope they say hey you already downloaded the client you can play.
"One day all will die, surely you but never I." Wheel of Time
It seems so childish but I cant be bothered to play any game but WAR. I'm so bored I've been doing cardio...

Note: PlayNC will refuse to allow you access to your account if you forget your password and can't provide a scanned image of the product key for the first product you purchased..... LOL
Face the pigeon, go outside.
If you must play an MMO, now's a good time to try out some free trials, maybe see what you've missed. I will be giving Vanguard a try this week for the first time to see why my friend enjoys it so much.
Waiting for Fallen Earth, World of Darkness, Old Republic, FFXIV
beat some nails into your face.
I've personally been hoping they'd suddenly announce, "Oh hey, it's Labor Day weekend. Many of you have a three day weekend, so we decided to start Open Beta now!"
*sigh* Unfortunately it hasn't happened yet.
I've even sacrificed a few goats and chickens in the hopes of that coming about. No luck! Anyone want to come over for a BBQ? I'll need to look up how to prepare goat meat, but I'm sure it won't be TOO terrible.
City of Hero's and Villians sorta has the same thing..
You cannot create a group, but you can join one if someone sends you an invite.
I rally didnt pay much to global chat, i will check it out..
Anyways I am burning my time in City of Villains and going to try that Asian game ARCHLORD for shits and grins till Sept 7th.
We only got a week left till OB, so it isnt that bad.
Goat makes a good stew. With home made noodles, it's TOPS!
