FFXI fan looking for upcoming game.

Hi; been looking for a new game, sorting through the endless releses is confusing to me at best.  Could use a little help.

 

I played FFXI until endgame became tiresome.

 

The parts of the game I enjoyed were;

Freedom from "button-mashing"

Party-Dependent (I actually LIKE grinding with other players)

Crafting system for wealth (when the game was new)

Fantasy World

 

 

I have plenty of time to devout, I can play at work, so 5-6 hours a day is not unreasonable.

 

 

I don't want to start a game that has already launched.  Are there any games coming soon that seem similar that I could join on the "ground-floor"?

 

Thank you for any info.  Sorting through the press-releases makes my  head hurt.

    I appreciate the input, Frog.  I thought that was going to be the game anyway.

     

    There seems to be some sort of bias against     "Korean"    games for some reason.  Care to outline the reasons why?

     

    Is it party dependent?  Solo leveling is NOT appealing to me at all.

     

    I've read the MMORPG.com posts on it, gimme your opinion Please ^-^

    **Also the PvP angle is something I'm not that interested in.  Do you think it will be integeral or optionial like in FF11?**

    well most people hate asian/korean mmo becuse of the grind. but you seem to not mind it so thats not a problem :)

    also they hate them becuse the majority force you to buy from the cashmall...but aion is a p2p so no worrie there :)
