Considering GOA haven't even posted who their pre-order partners are yet, I assume that PLAY have jumped the gun and put it up early.
I notice that GAME have dropped their price again, looks like they didn't get to be a partner, although it was expected with EA and them having a constant battle over prices.

BUMP, anyone got the codes sent yet? it still says 28th on play.com..............
Still nope, a poster on a different forum called them and they said they are 'aware' of the problem. They suggested waiting for 3 days, as their contact at the distributors has told them that, before re-calling them. As there is nothing actually to play at the moment in anycase, I don't mind waiting. I am however, irritated that, yet again, I've been lied to over another preorder.
alright cool cheers for the info, yeah i dont mind waiting but when they tell u one thing and do another it gets annoying :P.
I dont get why people just dont walk into a BB, wal-mart or Target to get their preorder. Codes are in the box so you dont have to worry about not recieving your pre-order codes in time. Now if you live out in the middle of nowhere than I can see ordering online. If you have to order online the best and most reliable place is Amazon. Just mho.
from the UK i am so it would be a long walk :P. Anyone know if GAME is doing anything their price is only £26.99 which makes me think its just the game so by lowering the price they get more sales?
Play.Com have changed the text on the pre-order ad??? It now reads codes will be sent on the 16th September!!! This over two weeks later than originally stated, ie from 28th August, and 1 day off the headstart, ie the standard edition headstart is supposed to start on 15th September.
I'm cancelling my order, I'll get it from GAME at a cheaper price and get reward points. I'm not paying play.com for really crappy customer service. They couldn't even be bothered to send me an email to explain.
