With a battle system like that, and travel as it's shown, the game's grind may be the most enjoyable around.

Yeap, it sure sets a new standard in Asian MMOs. But let's just see how the gameplay works and persist, yes?
I will say that it has the potential to be the best looking and most action oriented MMO out there.
They just announced this game on the 4th of Aug.
I doubt you will see in the NA market for a while though.

Game looks pretty wicked.
its amazing how a few screenshots and a few polished videos can instantly make an mmorpg the best. hey look blood and gore, its gonna be the best mmorpg, hey look shineeeey graphics, thats gonna be the best mmo. hey look huge boobies on female characters, this will be the best mmorpg.
I think it's a bit different when the main reason for the excitement is the gameplay itself.

Let's not annoint a game as great before we have had a chance to play it.
Been too much of that lately and all we have ended up with is a lot of mediocre games at best.
The game certainly has potential, I will grant it that. The Koreans are really trying to find that best blend of eastern and western playstyles. Maybe this one will do it.
Doubt it will be the best mmorpg out there.

I am very sceptical when someone tries to sell itself just by looks and nothing else.
Honestly, I don't see where you'd get "looks", but "nothing else" from...
The video showed gameplay. We may not know the exact details of combat, but from Q&A and the trailer, it looks like it will be more complex. Combat also looks more believable with knockback and hitting foes on the ground. Wall running, etc.... That doesn't look like nothing to me, and it's certainly what interests me.
Test it and then tell us what makes it different from all the other cool looking games and I may agree that it has potential.
I still value gameplay features more than looks.
I wouldn't jump the wagon just yet guys. When 9 Dragon was still in Beta and Previews were release, everyone said that the combat would rock and that nothing would beat it. Well, if you look now, it's not that awesome.
I admit that the video is AMAZING and I really want to play but is it enough to kill WOW ? Nope, it will never kill it. WOW attracts alot of people that are not there for the combat. Heck,
Also, Mabinogi 2 is also coming out and that one promises as well.
It has no appeal for me. I don't like the Anime look, and I have no indication the game play won't be just more Asian Grinder.
But, it's great that developers make all sorts of different games, for different kinds of players.
Most people looking for interesting game mechanics don't mean cool looking combat, and certainly features like knockback, hitting foes on the ground, or wall running, wouldn't qualify for me, as interesting features. I'm really not interested in playing a massive game of mortal combat.
Just some new anime crap.. very far from being best.
Best is very subjective. I think it looks like the prettiest mmo out there. I would love to give it a go. But i also highly doubt that I will be able to have 50 vs 50 battles in this game with out my computer exploding and burning my house down.
The engine used in the game is unreal engine 3 so get away with anime graphics lol, and what attracted me to this game isnt the graphic itself, its the gameplay that looks cool, well lets just wait and see how it goes in our hands...
The game certainly looks fun to play if it all works like it does in the video. Combat is more involving, the freedom of movement displayed is great to me, and the graphics and models look amazing to me (sorry if I'm a fan of that anime look :P)
and yeah, most the U3 Engine has been used to make is a bunch of burly men sausage-fest games, so hey, the anime-ish look is fine by me
