Go back to the store or website and get a refund. Stop acting like Mythic owes you something because you are disapointed. You can be as upset as you want, you can come up with whatever reason you want, it means nothing. All they owe you is your money back, so go to the store/site and get it back.
They do not need to make changes for you, they do not need to ask your opinion, they do not need to appologize to you, they do not need to do a damn thing accept give you your money back.
So stop comming up with your retarded posts about all the "lies" and "unfullfilled promises" garbage. Go get your money back or shut up and enjoy the game. You fools can't see the forest through all the trees.

I dont know if I would be mad at mythic persay, i think mythic made a mistake by getting in bed with eagames, i would point the finger at ea-games and ask did you have anything to do with this, I feel bad for any company that goes under ea-games, and i feel as though they didnt do there hom,ework and look at there past to see what they do to smaller companies they buyout....tisk, tisk, tisk.

From every indicator I've heard or read, EA has little to do, other than financial backing, distribution, and taking a huge chunk of the profits. Games Workshop retains total control of the IP. Mythic can't even put a sneeze in that game without their say so.
If it were up to EA, this game would have launched before AoC, and if anyone doubts that, they know nothing about EA's MMO track record. See UO, UO2, UOX, Sims Online, Motor City, and that damned detective one they were going to try I can't even remember the name of.
EA has NO problems pushing crap out of the door if it makes a short term profit. They'd never let it get delayed as long as it has been if they were in charge.

I AM cancelling. However, there is a lot more riding on the success of this game than may at first appear. Namely one other important project they are in discussions about. I still 100% believe that WAR is primarily being used as an experimental/reconnaissance mission for that Other Project. So i'm still going to be concerned about how well WAR does.

Haven't heard of that one myself, although that is not to say this wouldn;t apply for it as well. I thought more people knew about the one I was talking about, I kinda feel like I'd be spoiling the surprise, but I'll give ya a clue- Warner Brothers is in on it as well.

Let us hope and pray that it is Imperator. One of the last creative idea's we've heard of for a game world. It's just what this genre needs sooooo badly.

Imperator was in development for i think about 18 months then they shelved it to focus on WAR. It's based on the scenario that the Roman Empire didn't fall and has since expanded into space. It sounded fascinating and some of the screenies were pretty sweet.
Last thing we need is Hogwarts Online LOL

What the MMORPG genre really needs, is developers and publishers that can stick to their OWN schedule, and deliver what they say they will. Not one in the last six years that I can think of has done so.

Warner Bros. signed with Turbine (40 mil) and I wouldn't be surprised if it was Harry Potter Online.
I'm not canceling my pre-order. I'm in Beta and I know what's coming and it hasn't disappoint me yet.
last i heard is that imperator was cancelled indefinitely. thats not to say they can't ressurect it from the graveyard but i seriously doubt this game is an experiment for future games. EA/Mythic have put in too much time and money for this to be an experiment. I'm sure there have been a few learning experiences with this game but its probably the same with all companies that have made more then 1 MMO.
I personally don't plan on cancelling my preorder just for the fact that i think the game will still be a success even with some of the content being delayed. I also think its childish drama to complain about games coming out with content not making it to release. This isn't the first mmo to be released without all the content and it won't be the last. The one thing that does seperate this from alot of MMOs PR wise is the fact they have given players ample time to make the decision to cancel or continue supporting the game.
You're right, Mythic doesn't have to listen to the players and we don't owe them anything.
But they do anyways. However, like some companies, there's just some decisions that the players don't know enough about to make the right choice. And the company does. Mythic was between a rock and a hard place here, so they chose what they thought was the lesser of two evils. Now they're taking the heat for it, but despite all the naysayers and AoC-accusers I think this will still be a good game. Perhaps not as great as it will be once the classes and cities are in, but it's not a total loss like many are making it out to be...

lol you were here flaming Mythic over the changes before i logged in to WAR this morning ...i level my Arch mage to 10 , bitched a little on the beta forums , went to burger king ( triple wopper with cheese and bacon + hallipanios = good ) and am now just coming back to these forums at almost 1AM and your still complaining ?

Look on the first page of any WAR forum, including this one. Ok maybe second page on some but the changes are major enough you will want to read them for yourself.
To the OP. I understand what your sayin but please choose your wording better. Mythic did listne to the testers and made a choice based off that and there own data.

how many games do you see currently out there that offer 20 classes at launch? wow 4 classes didn't make the cut and everyone that wanted to make one of those classes is never going to roll an alt character...ppl need to just stop the whining. having 2 cities with double the content originally planned is a pretty good compromise. Besides, until players start trying to seige a major city its not that big of a deal. Heck, they may have another couple cities in by the time the game does have a successful takeover of an enemy city.
