do i buy the game now or wait?

i am currently thinking of buying the game now but am still a little worried that it's still broken mostly broken at the moment.
i have heard bad things that the starting area is good but after that the game lacks a lot unless in a big group setting like guilds and stuff can anyone verify this for me or not ?

I would say wait, I got lvl 73 on my bear shammy and cant get my self to log back in any more
if u don't mind to be a beta tester in a game with 22432982334 bugs and are only looking for a game with amazing graphics, go for it. But if u want something more polished and with a more immersive atmosphere (AoC is 100% instanced), i would say wait... or (in my opinion) forget this game forever. Its not a true MMO, its only a online action game with outstanding graphics...
If you can deal with the broken game I say buy it and play it. It is great game 1-20, after that it goes downhill pretty quick. So unless you can deal with the bugs, broken classes, and everything else. The game is fun and playable for the most part. If you can't deal with this stuff...avoid it and play something else. Really. Otherwise it may put a bad taste in you mouth and may turn you off from it forever.
It would probably be in your best interest to wait a few months before buying the game.

You should definitely wait ... because we're taking the game out behind the barn and shooting it.

I would wait a few months, it's a decent game just needs a lot of loving at present.
If you have a good gaming rig and you don't level to fast, but take your time, and you can put up with some things that are broken or not yet optimized you could try this game. Just if there is a problem remember to be patient because lot of people say customer service is abysmal.
But really, few mmo's have good customer service. This atleast has been my experience, so more of an industry critique rather than specifically directed at funcom.
There are a wide variety of opinions though. Some really love it. Ultimately the choice is yours.
Definitely wait. The new style of gameplay relating to melee combat is interesting, but the game has waaay too many issues at the moment to make it a worthwile investment. Recent patches have actually made matters worse on many fronts. Funcom also seem to be making a few bad design decisions which could jeopardise the games future.
I might return in a few months if/when things get fixed but for now I would leave well alone, most of my friends left last week or the week before.

I say buy it, i am really enjoying this game and having lots of fun, people are crying 'broken' and put too much expectation on 'new' games that just came out in the market..These people are probably playing games that are a few years old and have majority of there problems solved.....AoC is new and is tolerable when it comes to there minor bugs....go and buy this game...you will not be disappointed.
