Btw I am not talking about Warhammer.
Every new mmorpg i play with the hope that it delivers something which builds upon the basics that DAoC brought along, but they never do and really its always dissapointing.
I really wish someone would take up the mantle seriously and make DAoC 2 - with the advances today it really could be something great.
Please someone make DAoC2!!!
P.S. ill help :P

I know you said no Warhammer, but isn't Warhammer doing just that?
And it would be as successful as EQ2, AC2, UO2, L2, and all the other famous sequels.
OK, L2 was a pretty successful game, but still fell short of the numbers posted by the original game. (over in Asia anyways, here in states it was higher)
Point is, sequels haven't proven themselves to be a great idea in MMO's yet, and until one does don't expect to see people rushing to the door to create them.

Not really, the cartoony graphics and only 2 factions. I mean really taking the lore and structure and just updating/revamping it to become a true next generation mmorpg. DAoC did have its own problems but nothing since has matched up to the immersion and community feel it created.
They are, its called WAR!
DAoC was the best RvR game. I don't think anyone can repeat that atmosphere.
