A strange old twist

Just playing AoC and its so like EQ2 that it has rekindled my passion to come back and play this one again. I played EQ2 in beta and for 2 years in retail and then tried some other games for diversity. AoC is very much the same formula, and it will be interesting to see what they do with it, but the lore / depth and "likability" is not on a par with EQ2.

I will thank it for tempting me back to Norrath though

To err is human....to play is divine

    Haven't noticed many similarities myself.

Apart from starting on a boat, gaining first levels through a starter zone, the whole fantasy setting, siliar classes such as guardians and the graphical style - I can see your point

To err is human....to play is divine

AOC and EQ2 are nothing alike.

I cannot really see the similiarities

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
