Will next beta phase start in Sep?

I know the friends and family phase is running now, but will the public phase start any time soon?

    Theres a good chance that there wont be open beta for EQ2

    To be honest with you i hope they don't have an open beta.  Some things are just better off being left unknown by the masses.  Even us beta people (i should be getting in here soon) have our hands tied, so its impossible to tell you swact. image  It still is more intresting in the lore aspect, i would really hate if everyone knew what happened to halas.....i wana know that. image

    Open Beta will NOT happen untill a few weeks prior to launch, they have more then enough applicants to handle closed testing.

    I think i may have been misunderstood i know there won't be a open beta,(i've applied for beta) what i want to know is when the next phase of beta will start?

    No one knowns but It wont be by Sept 1st...

    The only thing they've said for sure is "soon" and to "update your information".  Could be sometime in Sept.  But noone knows until they say.  Kind of a bummer, but I think they are keeping from having to eat their words by posting one date and then having to set it back.
