can Aion be in DX10 mode?

in Aion

can Aion be in DX10 mode?

i need the answer as it will determine wheather ill be getting a dx10 card or not.

i am not an first person shooter guy. i game on the pc is jus for mmos.

 i play all other genre on consoles.

if Aion have directX10 mode.... then i shall upgrade to dx10 card.... if not..... i will not upgrade as my three gig ram and an old x850xt is enough for all my needs.

    Well , as I saw you already asked this question on AionSource.com and you`ve got the best answer  so far:

    "Aion is a DirectX 9 game, so it will work with either DX9 or DX10.



    I don't recall if we've heard anything about Aion having optional dx10 effects."

    CryEngine doesn't do DX10 right now just some neat HDR might as well pick up a directX 10 card T_T  You can get a 8800 GT for around $350 that will run any game you throw at it graphic wise as long as you got a decent processor and ram
