    I'm glad you lot posted your responses first becuase while EQ2 does have its share of bugs i've never heard of the one the OP is going on about.

    I had this problem but not with EQII

    i had it with Vandal Hearts for PSONE

    Its probably a multiprocessor issue. Try to assign the eq2.exe to a single processer. This fixed the soundproblems for me.

    hmmm did i get mix up anyhow?

     

    well i think it is absolute that the hp bar was delaying when i played the demo few months/years ago. maybe the sound delay was mistaken.

    i remmembered i ask couple people about the hp bar damage delay and they experience the same.
