Just a question.
I just got an email, inviting old beta players back to LOTR.
In the email it said, " Defeat your enemies as a Ranger or Troll ".
So can you pick ranger as your class ?
or
Troll as your race?
Just wondering.

I got that same e-mail heheh.
The Ranger and Troll are both "Session Play" selections specifically for PvMP. Basically, you can spend Destiny points (points that you earn by completing different tasks) and play as one of those - Ranger for the Free Peoples side and Troll for the "creeps" side. It's limited to an hour per session every 24 hours.
You're basically a mini raid boss running around, capable of a lot of damage and with a lot of hit points.
Generally speaking, either side will bring one out (you can have 2 of either one in play at any given time) when they're at a great disadvantage. Sometimes, though, you'll see them come out even if there is no clear underdog
