Have a few questions about UO

I played UO about 9 years ago, i quit just after Lord Blackthornes (sp) expantion came out. I would like to play again, but i want to find a server that is Lord Blackthorn expansion or before. Do they have a shard for this?

I miss the sound of my silver broadsword hitting a lich. I even miss crafting a full suit of valorite platemail, stepping out of my house and getting PK'd (bye b ye suit).

Also can i download the game or do i have to buy the retail box which includes all 30 expansions?

    for all means, just download the game.  Which you can do even on EA's main site. 

     

    The only 'pre' anything server are the free ones.  EA doesn't support anything 'pre'
