Any chance of increasing that? To say 10.5kb or thereabouts. Even if only for people that donate to the site.

    You must realize that Craig's Bandwidth bills are already at an all time high with the rush of new members in the last few months. I'd go and do what something awful does and make people pay to put up an avatar [over 10 kb], The catch is that it cannot be bigger in pixels.

    Hey, that maybe an option when he starts offering paid accounts (option to turn ads off, etc.).  Adding a couple more kb with subscription may be a bonus perk.

    not a pay site like you're thinking, from what I understand you still have complete access, just one of the options you get as a paid member is to turn banner ads off.  Plus you're helping Craig out with his massive bills from us using up all his bandwith image
