I'm just curious what everyone will be choosing for at least their main character. Personally, I will most likely be dark on my first.

I am Light for two reasons.
1. Light is more diverse since they represent the constructive force while Dark is simply pure destruction.
2. The Dark will have most of the hardcore PvP players with the largest guilds so Light will be more challenging to play.
Haha I voted Dark for exactly the same reasons.
I expect Light to have vaster numbers and thus outbalance Dark even though Darks will probably have slightly higher individual skill level. So, I think Dark will be harder. Also, due to similar reasons I expect Light to be less organized. This is exactly what happened in SWG at least, so I wouldn't be surprised to have similar outcome here.
I wonder what the devs will do to help balance the game if one side becomes disproportionally bigger than the other. More NPCs/Guards for the smaller side maybe?
In SGW they just prayed and hoped..... There were greater numbers of Rebels, but they never actually did anything. Anchorhead was under attack all the time by people with At-Sts and the rebels just ran away.....So they devs may not do anything in DnL.
