    shadow bane is being rereleased ...are they ubdating the graphics?

    I still don't understand why it is being rereleased and why they wiped it?

    ah thought thats what he was talking about, but aren't they just starting over?  or are they releasing a new client with updated graphics, etc.?

    Its not being "re-released", just a reboot.  They have done major patches to the game to make it more stable, but when you have issues "grandfathered" in, the changes don't do much.  Also, there is a rumor that some major serverside changes are happening that couldn't happen to a live server, upgrades or programming, perhaps both.

    This also removes the old FC items that were created within the first 6 months of the game (5 years ago, yes its been 5 years!).  The FC gear is akin to epic gear in WoW, making skill not needed to compete.

    This is a fresh start to make something of yourself and you guild in the game.  Quote "If you cant keep up, dont step up, your just going to die."
