    Well I went to your link and it seems that Sony has dropped the price on the screw. It is now $4.95. The author of the article takes credit for the price drop though.

    Actually, to be fair, there are some screws which are very important, or special, or precisely made. Screws can definately be worth more than $60.

    True but this is a ps3 I highly doubt it needs a very special screw its holding two pieces of plastic toghter I cant see it being worth more then 4$
