Hey there
Well I have a crap PC for gaming and I have inherited my parents computer that they no longer use, I am carrying out a number of upgrades on it and the final spec should look like this:
Athlon X2 3600+ (2.00GHz, 512KB Cache)
2GB DDR Ram
Radeon HD3850 256MB (PCI-E)
How well will the game run on this system? What type of graphics settings will it run at with a decent framerate? Also, for the next two weeks I will be running that setup but with a single-core Athlon X64 3200+ (2.00GHz, 512KB Cache) whilst I save for the new CPU, how well will it run on the single-core setup with 2 gigs of DDR Ram and a Radeon 3850?

Your system is comparable to mine, and I run fine with settings on medium using DX9. The game will start to lag a bit if you go higher. However, I am unsure on my video card comparison to yours. I use an 8600 GTS video card, so if this is of lower quality then your ATI card you may be able to achieve better performance at higher settings.
