I have a visa debit and credit card so it's never been a problem for me... but I can tell you that they don't ask for your 3 digit security code on the back of the card, only the number and exp date. You may want to try a pre-paid visa or american express. See if you can scrounge up 15$ for a pre-paid, and if it doesn't work you'll have a nice pre-paid card accepted worldwide
EDIT: The reason I mention the security code on the back of the card is because I'm pretty sure pre-paid cards do not have them.
