Question: Are these Vid Cards the Same?

Hallo, im currently shopping around, trying to find the best deal on a retail ATI made Raedon 9800pro. Ive found 2 at 2 different websites, one is cheaper. Ive been told to be careful not to get the 128-bit version, as it is slower, but im not sure how to determine that. Here are the links to both sites.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-286&depa=1
http://www.micer.com/viewItem.asp?idProduct=453055403

Are these 2 cards the exact same? Is one better than the other? Are they BOTH the 128-bit and im screwed? etc?

(I was told the first link doesnt work for some reason(did for me...). If it doesnt work for you,  go here: http://www.newegg.com/app/manufact.asp?catalog=48&DEPA=1 , scroll down to the manufacturers and select ATI. Then scroll down to the ATI Raedon 9800Pro, which is at $223.)

Also, just to clarify, there is a 128MB version and a 256MB version.  Both of those are 128MB, but honestly, there's not a big difference when it comes down to it.  If you can't find a 256MB version for the same or similar price, then I'd say go for the 128.  GL ;).

    Thanks for the help.

Actually, I meant 128/256-BIT. I dont know what the -bit applies to, but im sure its important image

Either way, thanks for the info, ill prolly just buy it. Anyone ever hear any complaints about www.micer.comor anything that would cause it not to be trusted? I mean, its only 20$ cheaper image

Not surprised about the difference in price. Newegg is a big geek e-tailer.

What does  that mean Alekhin? From what Ive seen, Newegg.com has the largest selection vs. price Ive seen anywhere.

By the way, the 128 meg ATI radeon 9800 pro (the one I have) runs at the same speed as the 256, because hte 256 is a worse type of memory...basicly ATI made a really good 128 meg memory card, then a cheapo 256 meg memory card...they both run at about the same speed...

Oh hey, you might want to check out www.pricewatch.com/.  Its probably the best comparison shopping website when it comes to computer hardware.  I saw a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb there for $165 just now.  Have fun =).

I agree with the rest of you, just different makers of the card for different prices.  As Mezzaines85 stated, pricewatch is another good source, and  AnandTech.com tends to refer to pricewatch all the time.
