Betas and your chances of getting in

  I was wandering,am I the only unlucky person who never gets into a closed beta,minor exception is I get into the closed beta 1 week before open beta begins.

    It depends on the game I think.  (I didn't know about MMORPG until 2003, and even then I only focus on the ones that were out.)  I found out about betas from this and chats in the MMO I play.  So I start to pay attention about the games in development, and if it is interesting, I would sign up for beta. 

     

    I've only received 2 close beta - Exteel from NCSoft (not MMO really), and Pirates of the Burning Sea.  Other than those two, I've yet to receive other ones...

     

     

    Current MMO: FFXIV:ARR

    Past MMO: Way too many (P2P and F2P)

    No one will ever get  me into a closed beta without paying me.

    I noticed that I get a lot of offers having subscribed to the competition section of this website however. Try it.

    I have only ever gotten in to One closed beta :O And I have applied for many over the years...

    I have been fairly lucky in getting into a lot of the major closed betas through the years. I guess it depends on what your computer spec's are, how much experience beta testing you have and the answers to their questions. I guess I am a beta junky :)
