I am currently installing SB back on my new computer!
Been away for a long while and would like to know what server to play on, and if any guilds are actively recruiting?

Sup dude, MOURNING is the current place to be.
CN took over most of the other servers.
We are looking at receiving some new servers shortly though, as said by Ashen from SBG.

New, ugraded servers? Surprised they can afford them as this game is FtP...

It's my personal belief new servers are freaking AWESOME for SB.
When they did the whole F2P thing for the first time and created that new server it was great. Because then new people to the game had a "Fresh" world to interact with. Guilds had a chance to really make a mark in that game. Bar none, what they should do is after a server is completely taken over and decimated by a certain faction, or has been up for a lengthy amount of time "I'd say a year or two" they should whipe and make a new server. This adds fun and excitement since you want to help take over that server world.
The game is pretty much easy to get into and shouldn't have much of an issue remaking servers in how the current game works.
