Proof playing video games is not a complete waste of time

A man used knowledge gained from playing a video game to save the lives of two people.

How about that?  So now whenever your parents, wife, girlfirend, boyfriend or husband tell you that you are just wasting your life playing video games, you can say them them, "Hey, the knowledge I gain from playing this may save a life one day."

I know if any of my friends ever get ambushed by a group of orcs, I'll be able to snap into action in the blink of an eye.

    This better not be another one of those "boy faints in front of moose" type of thing.

    No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

    Interesting to read, but video games do "kill" people not save.......

    There is a lot more stories out there. Like the guy who used a technique from Sonic the Hedgehog during 9/11. Yall remember that?

    Proof that video gamers love stupid reasons to play video games... Of course video game isn't a complete waste of time, it's extremely fun. I still wonder what he would've done if he had played EVE Online, would he have tried to use shield on the guy?
