This happened where the plug wouldn't work anymore for charging so I bought another and the same thing happened to that after like a few weeks aswell. Is there any reason for that? Maybe it happens because I sometimes put my laptop on my lap while using? Not sure I am noob with laptops

Its not because you put it on your lap (that would sort of go against the purpose of a laptop).
How long have you had the laptop? It sounds like the battery might not be able to hold a charge.
Usually a light will go somewhere when you plug the laptop into the charger? Do you get that light?
Can you use the laptop with the charger plugged in? If so then it definitely sounds like a dead battery.
Edit:
If its still under warranty I suggest calling customer support. After rereading your post it might not be the battery if the second charger worked for a few weeks.

I agree with Varlock. I'd put money on a bad battery. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the cord itself unless you let your dog chew it up or something.

A dead battery? It could be, I shall see if this new plug I have will work, if it goes out then maybe is battery or something. The light that comes from charging used to come on but when it stopped is when I knew it broke since my laptop's battery continues to drain with it saying nothing is plugged in. Thanks for the help, hopefully it works.

Check the cable connector going into your laptop also. It is possible it could be loose and not getting a good connection, which will in turn drain your battery since you aren't running power from the cord like you think you are.
Never really had that with a laptop..but it happened to a bunch of my cell phones...

Actually I thought this was happening but then for my second wire that I got, it shows a green light at the end showing that power is going through it but at the laptop it does not show a blue light saying it is charging.

Remove the battery and plug the laptop in. If it still doesn't work you have much bigger issues than your battery, and need to start weighing the options of taking it to a shop vs. the cost of a new laptop.
If it works it was your battery.

Thanks for the advice, if it happens again I am definitely trying that out. Thankfully, I have yet to have problems yet .
