It will most likely run EQ2 fine. Though I doubt you can set all the settings to max.

I'd like to know more about the card to give you a definite answer but the site you linked does not give every little tid bit of info, and even the manufacture web site doesn't give the info I would like.

    EQ2 system specs:

What are the system requirements to play?

Minimum: Windows® 2000/XP, Pentium® III 1 Ghz or greater, 512 MB RAM, DirectX 9 Compatible video card. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 64MB of texture memory, DirectSound compatible audio hardware, 56k Internet Connection, 16x DVD-ROM, 10GB Hard Drive Space.

Recommended: Windows® 2000/XP/Vista, Pentium® 4 2 Ghz or greater, 1 GB RAM, DirectX 9 Compatible video card. Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware with 128MB of texture memory or greater, DirectSound compatible audio hardware, Broadband Internet Connection, 16x DVD-ROM, 10GB Hard Drive Space.

It could, but only at balanced settings.  I personally would not recommend a nVidia 5XXX series card, they were troubled with both excessive heat and mediocre performance right from the start, and the whole series is several years out of date by now.

Could you recommend a PCI card (around 50 pounds is what i'm searching for D:) ?

Edit: This site seems to have alot

Cant really recommend a PCI card because to be honest your not going to get a good one because there really out of day. I would recommend spending about 70ish pounds and getting a PCI-Express mother board and a PCI-Express Card. If thats totally not an option does your current motherboard have its AGP slot free or have one for that matter?

If so i would go for this www.overclockers.co.uk

    Current MMO: Nothing
    Waiting For: FireFall, GW2

After some research I managed to find some speed test results of Geforce 5200 graphic cards (AGP version). It had the honour of competing of place of the slowest graphic crad in a review made in 2004. Link.

You should be able to determine how fast it "runs" EQ2 from that. And I'd suggest that if your computer doesn't have either APG or PCI Express slot you could attach graphic card to, it'd be best to buy new motherboard. PCI card can't be a good graphic card since the PCI bus is too slow, it wouldn't have enough bandwidth to transfer the textures needed to draw the graphic to the card.

Or maybe you should buy whole new computer, since you'd probably end up having to upgrade more than half of the components inside your computer anyway.

I’m having a little trouble believing you need to use a PCI video card. You have to go back nearly 10 years to see systems that didn’t at least support AGP.  Newer systems use PCI-E, which is not the same thing as PCI.

For AGP cards the fastest you can get would be a Radeon X1950, but that may be a little out of your price range. If you have a PCI-E slot you may be able to find an nVidia 7900 series card at around the price you are looking for, but I’d look for a 7600 with 512MB of video RAM instead, EQ2 is sensitive to video memory. If you only have AGP I’d look for a Radeon X1600, again 512MB of video RAM is desirable.

Im not 100% sure what type of slot I have since I haven't looked inside for ages, but according to:

    http://www.dmxdimension.com/info/dell-desktop-graphics-card-upgrades/

"Basically, if you have a Dimension 3100c or a Dimension 3100 your options are limited due to the fact that they do not have an AGP or PCI Express x16 graphics card slot."

I dont think im gonna buy a new computer, probably a bit to expensive xO
