The pre-order pakage

in Pirates of the Burning Sea

If you look on the website for potbs and click pre-order it links you to a pre-order page. It says that if you pre-order potbs from some certain suppliers you get a special pakage which gives you things like a in game parrot and some swords. Does anyone know if you need the pakage to get a parrot or those swords?

    You don't need the physical boxed package to get the parrot and sword as that only requires a special promotion code that you get when ordering the pre-order promotion online.

     

    You DO need the physical, boxed package if you want the bonus CD containing the various audio tracks used in the game. As far as I know, this part is not available for download even if you purchase the pre-order.

    So does that mean you have to pre order the game from one of the 4 websites shown on the potbs website or can you pre order the game from any website to get the parrot etc. also can u buy parrot in markets or something in the game or are they only available by buying the pre order pakage?

    You can order from anywhere you like but it DOES have to be the official pre-order package you are ordering to get the bonus items. If ordering from anywhere other than the sites mentioned on the official site, make sure it is the official pre-order package not simply pre-ordering the retail game needed later in January.

    The only way to get the bonus items is by ordering the official pre-order package as far as I know. You will still need to purchase the full retail package as well as the pre-order to continue playing after the official launch in late January (22nd?).
